The Division Bell – What Do You Want from Me.

I waited a long time for this album after the famous “split” of the band and solo albums from both Gilmour and Waters, but it was worth the wait even without any input from Roger Waters.

This track harks back to their best music with a strong beat at the beginning and that distinctive high-pitched fuzzy guitar.  The vocals are also very distinctive with lyrics that suggest a connection to the breakup of the band (in my mind).  All of this is supported by backing vocals and the superb organ playing that provides a very solid sound to the track – definite shades of Dark Side of The Moon.
